2020 was unprecedented, the most monumental year in living history. They say that hindsight is 2020, but it was the year we never saw coming - an endless stream of horrors; natural disasters, plague, pandemic, corruption and tragedy.

How much of what happened could have been avoided? Or damage mitigated? Did we learn anything, or are we destined to repeat the same pattern of incompetence, apathy and self-interest?

I wanted to make this short film to acknowledge some of what our planet had been through - and look forward to a more hopeful future.
